Life Lessons to learn from five incredible facts

Posted at  Saturday, May 11, 2013  |  in  Self improvement

Dear readers

I was flipping through the pages of my little brother fact book. There were amazing facts and the good part is that there were facts that actually had a message to pass across. i will be discussing five of them.

 1. "Thomas Alva Edison, light bulb inventor was afraid of the dark."

LESSON 1

Sir Thomas realized that the only way he could overcome the fear he had was to face it. You have the potential to solve any challenges you have.

Whatever the problem you think you have, look inwards, think and you'll find a solution.

Who would have thought that his fears would lead to a revolutionary invention?

2. "Relative to its size, the strongest muscle in the body is the tongue."

LESSON 2

Strength is not a function of size and location. Neglecting the tongue, your strength is a dependent on your indomitable will.

Will power is fueled from the mind. Whether physical or intellectual strength it depends on  Your mind.

3. "There is no tiger/zebras in the world with the same stripes."

LESSON 3

Everyone is unique. You are unique. No two persons can have the same personality. It may look alike but it can never be the same.

You need to appreciate your uniqueness and explore it. Don't try to be someone else. Know who you are and work to develop yourself positively.

4. "Moderate dancing burns 250 to 300 calories an hour."

LESSON 4

5. "The microwave was invented after a researcher walked by a radar tube and a chocolate bar melted in his pocket."
LESSON 5

Sometimes the mistakes we are avoiding might just be the miracle we need.

Never be to scared to make mistakes.

Co-incidences, mistakes, failures are components of life. Let your life experiences be worthwhile.

Five facts + one
6. "Jean Claude Vandamme learned to speak by watching the cartoon 'FLINTSTONES'."
LESSON 6

It is always good to take cognizance of what's going on around us. If you can't get a direct way to learn something, learn by observation.

Humor Fact

There are more chickens than people in the world
